The World Stamp Show NY 2016 takes place May 28 through June 4 at the Javits Center in New York, USA.
This show will welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors from all 50 states and more than 100 countries for this week-long celebration, to be held at Javits Center. More than 3,800 frames of competitive exhibits will be visited by around 250,000 people. Over 200 professional stamp dealers will sell and buy philatelic material, 50+ postal bureaus, including the United States Postal Service and United Nations Postal Administration selling their latest issues. The show will bring stamp collectors from all over the world together for a unique educational experience expressive in history and culture.
Famous stamp rarities, including the most expensive, the unique 1856 British Guiana 1c magenta stamp, auctions, seminars, youth and beginner activities, sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service and other nations will take place in Court of Honor.
There are expected First Day stamp release ceremonies for new issues from the U.S., U.N. and several nations around the world.
